TRENTON - William "Mr. Bill" Lazarus of Trenton died Tuesday at North Florida Regional Medical Center after a long illness. He was 74.

Mr. Lazarus moved to Trenton 51 years ago from Valdosta, Ga., where he was born. Before retiring, he owned a Fair Store in Trenton. Mr. Lazarus was a member of the William T. Carlton Masonic Lodge No. 46 in Trenton, the Rotary Club and the American Association of Retired Persons. He was also a member of the Trenton United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Lazarus of Trenton; two daughters, Kay L. Putchaven of Chiefland and Lucy L. Wood of North Palm Beach; a sister, Myrtle Waters of Quitman, Ga.; and five grandchildren.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy may be in the form of donations to the Trenton United Methodist Church building fund.

Lazarus, Mr. William (Mr. Bill) - Funeral services for Mr. Lazarus, age 74, Owner - Retired - Fair Store, will be held at 2:30 PM on Thursday, June 25th, 1987, at Trenton United Methodist Church with the Rev. George E. Sanford conducting the services. Burial will be in Trenton Cemetery under the direction of Yates Funeral Home of Trenton, Florida. Mr. Lazarus, who lived in Trenton, died June 23rd, 1987. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Trenton United Methodist Church Building Fund.
