Mrs. Sarah Ellen Long, patient at the Lutheran hospital in Fort Wayne for seven weeks, died last night [20 September] at 9 o'clock.

There body was brought to the Sonday Funeral Home in Churubusco where rites will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon [23 September], the Rev. D. D. Finch of Trinity Methodist church of Fort Wayne, officiating. Burial will be made in Eel River cemetery.  Friends will be received at the funeral home after 7 o'clock tonight [21 September].

Mrs. Long was a member of the United Brethren church at Churubusco.

Two sons, Walter Long, Fort Wayne, with whom Mrs. Long lived, and Jessa [Jesse] Long, Portland, Ore., and a daughter, Mrs. Carrie Pence of Churubusco, survive.

Other survivors are one grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Her husband, Abe Long, died in 1936.
