They continued their association with the firm until 1912 when they purchased a farm near Custer, Michigan. In 1921, they returned to Portland and resumed their work with the greenhouse.

In March 1929 the Frank family came to Columbia City where they opened the H. R. Frank and Sons Greenhouse. Wilson Frank and his brother, Hugh H. Frank, were associated with their father in the establishment of the business. In 1946 two other sons, Glenn P. Frank and Dale W. Frank, became members of the firm.

Mr. Frank was a member of the Blue River Church of the Brethren and he has been a Deacon in the church since 1924. His wife preceded him in death on August 27, 1960.
