Settlement (November 1867)

Estate of David Frank Deceased
Aaron Hiller, Administrator of the Estate of David Frank, deceased, this day filed his account as such administrator for Settlement whereupon the Court ordered that the Same be continued for Publication and Settlement.
Continued.

Administration bond (May 1866)

Friday, May 17th, 1866
Estate of David Frank deceased
This day Catharine Frank came into open court, & relinquished her right to be appointed as Admin. of the estate of David Frank deceased, her late husband, and requested the appointment of Aaron Hiller as such administrator. Wherefore it is, on motion ordered that said Aaron Hiller be, and he is hereby appointed as administrator of the estate of said David Frank dec'd and said Aaron Hiller came into open court and accepted said appointment and gave and filed herein his bond in the sum of eighteen hundred dollars committed according to law with Abraham R. Doty and John L. [?] his sureties which bond is approved by the court. Letters of administration are therefore allowed and ordered to be [unclear] to said Aaron Hiller upon the estate of said decedent - George Hesltry[?], John S. Heillen[?] & Henry Cole are hereby appointed to appraise the personal estate of said dec'd.

Guardianship (October 1866)

Saturday, October 20th, 1866
Guardianship of Wilson Frank et al.
This day, comes Wilson Frank and made choice of Wm. Dwire as his guardian which choice is approved by the courts, and the court is satisfied that said Wilson Frank is a minor residing in [this Co?] aged sixteen years on the 6th day of Jany. 1866 and child of David Frank deceased, and the said Wm. Dwire made application to be appointed guardian of said Wilson Frank, and also for the Estate of Valaria Frank aged thirteen years, residing in Indiana but owning real and personal property in this county, & which needs a guardian to take charge of the same. Said Valaria Frank being also an heir of the said decedent - and the said William Dwire having filed in this office a statement duly verified by his affidavits of the whole estate of said minors and the probable value thereof, and also the probable value of the yearly rents of said minors real estate. It is therefore by the court ordered that said William Dwire be, and he is hereby appointed guardian of the person and estate of said Wilson Frank and guardian only of the Estate of said Valaria Frank. And thereupon came said William Dwire in open court and accepted said appointments and took an oath that he would faithfully and honestly discharge the duties devolving upon him as such guardian and also gave and filed herein his bond in the summ of twenty five hundred dollars conditioned according to law with Conrad Baker & Seth R. Rofz his sureties which bond is approved by the courts.

The Court this day examined the 1st account current & vouchers of William Dwire, Guardian of Wilson Frank, heretofore filed for allowance, and partial settlement, and continued to this day due notice of which has been given by publication; And it is found by the Court that said Guardian has received assets of the Estate of said Wilson Frank, & is chargeable with the sum of $523.26
And it is further found that said Guardian has made payments, & is allowed credit in the sum of $113.13
And he is allowed for his compensation the sum of 25.00 138.13
Balance due said Wilson Frank Febry 20th 1869. $385.13

The Court this day examined the 1st account current & vouchers of William Dwire, Guardian of Volaria Frank, heretofore filed for allowance, & partial settlement, and continued to this day due notice of which has been given by publication; and it is found by the Court that said Guardian has received assets of the Estate of said Volaria Frank, and is chargeable with the sum of $523.26
And it is further found that said Guardian has made payments for his ward, & is allowed credit in the sum of $57.96
And he is allowed for compensation the sum of 25.00 82.96
Balance due said Volaria Frank Febry 20th 1869. $440.30
which he is ordered to account for according to law.
